"When going to a museum especially a picture gallery with your child/ren they might feel overwhelmed by the quantity of objects/paintings or get bored very quickly. You might want to continue with the following activity:  
Once you’re at the museum ask for guided tours or audio guides specifically for children that explain in an age-adequate way some of the key objects of the museum. In case there are none or not available in your language, ask your child/ren what it/they would be interested in, e.g. animals, angels, children etc. and then watch out for paintings depicting or objects representing these. "
