Description
When you go for a walk with your child/ren in the park/in the woods or just simply from a garden have him/her/them pick up a number of leaves if possible of different shapes and colours. Back home use a newspaper and some books or other heavy items to press and dry the leaves by putting them between the pages of the newspaper and placing the books on top. Once they are dry you can either: paint the leaves with different water colours and use them as stamps on a piece of white paper creating different shapes, objects, even animals or paste the leaves themselves onto a piece of cardboard or thick paper to create such shapes and objects.
